Data Management

CIC Research (CIC) has developed a wide range of skills with the management and processing of large databases.  Stemming from CIC's long-term association with number crunching and statistical analysis, CIC performs data manipulation, extraction, and maintenance services for a variety of clients.  Since 1996, beginning with the Internet Travelers' Survey, CIC has extended their expertise to the collection of state-of-the-art online surveys.

Maintains the "Survey of International Air Travelers" for Overseas to U.S. and U.S. to Overseas since 1985, containing 70,000 records per year (See our Aviation and Airlines Section for more information on this survey)

Develops data subsets in a variety of electronic formats to clients' specifications

Processes Department of Homeland Security (DHS) I-94 form data with 25,000,000 records per year

Supports visitor tracking efforts with conventions and visitor bureau databases dating to 1979

Maintained regional rideshare information including add, update, delete and storage of confidential records

Provides an industry standard for salary comparisons in the computer field annually by collecting 30,000 responses to a custom-designed, Internet survey

Developed a membership survey and elections system online for national transportation organization

Processes Transit customer comment cards
